Social Media Strategy for Your Career | Future For Us

August 6, 2019 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Join us this summer for Instagram & LinkedIn Basics with Lestauranda Alfred, Founder of Balanced Black Girl Media and Sage Quiamno, Co-founder of Future for Us.

This workshop will help you take your social media game to the next level. We’ll cover building an authentic brand on social platforms, leveraging Instagram and LinkedIn analytics to get build a robust base of followers, and telling impactful stories via Instagram Stories, and LinkedIn Live.

Create an Authentic Brand on Social Media

Social media is one of the first places many people will come to learn more about you and explore the work you do. So, branding yourself on the platforms is a must! And while photos of your pets or last night’s meal are great once and awhile, they don’t tell a complete story.

Learn how you can make a change in your content without doing a complete 180 and alienate those that already follow you!In this workshop, we will walk you through the questions you need to ask yourself before updating your approach and tips for making the shift organically.

After this workshop, you’ll walk away with:

  • A clear understanding of how to freshen up your overall social media presence;
  • New content ideas no matter your industry;
  • Confidence to start testing a new social media strategy (and knowing when to make adjustments as needed).
